Christmas Cookie Monster

Yesterday Juan Pablo and I made cut-out cookies. I only have one cookie cutter, so they were all the same but he didn't mind. We made the cookies, and I mixed up five different colors of glaze...
...then we started decorating.

Here's a look at Juan Pablo's creative process: Begin by dumping a spoonful of each color glaze on the cookie, counting as you go, "One, two, three, four, seven, eight."
Repeat, until cookie is completely submerged in glaze. It doesn't matter which spoons end up in which bowls. All the colors are going to end up in the same place anyway.
Alert your mom that you need a new cookie. She will dig it out of the pile of glaze, and while she's getting you a new one, you can eat what is left on the plate. The final result? Some very groovy cookies......and one very happy toddler with a sugar high!

That is soooo cute! It is wonderful how you allow Pablo to unleash his inner creative self with the cookie glazin'. Great narration of the event too!
