Tape, Paper, Scissors

No, this isn't some new crazy version of "Rock, Paper, Scissors".  These are just the three things Juan Pablo needs to be happy....and bonus points for a box of markers.  He can spend hours a day just cutting out shapes and then taping them wherever he feels is appropriate.  Like this monkey in a tree I found by the door in his room:

Or the big bad wolf in the hallway, speaking Spanish..."Soy grande, soy malo...I'm big I'm bad." (Please note that because the word bubble faces to the left, therefore all words and letters are written right to left...I love how his little mind woks):
Or this classy pair of spectacles, to go along with a paper mustache and beard:
And of course, never one to be left out, Ana Luisa tries to do the same::

In other autumn news, we had a day last week that was almost 80 degrees...perfect for making a big pile of leaves and jumping in it.

Ana Luisa thought it would be fun to take a picture of all three kids laying down in the leaves.  For some reason, anytime she lays in between the older two, Teresita always reaches out so that she is touching each of them. She loves her big brother and sister!

Teresita though it was fun to eat the leaves.

And then Juan Pablo thought it would be hilarious if he and Ana Luisa pretended to eat leaves too, and insisted I take a picture.

Though it got much colder in the days that followed, we had a great time trick-or-treating on Halloween.  Juan Pablo was a leopard, Ana Luisa was a cat, and Teresita was a tiger.

And then we celebrated the Feast of All Saints by making puppets of each child's special saint:
Blessed John Paul II, St. Therese and St. Anne, pray for us!
